AFRC Government and Public Affairs Program

AFRC’s robust Government and Public Affairs Program provides members with high level and bipartisan political access and solutions to public policy challenges, offering a strong record of positive policy, communications, and legislative accomplishments.

We advocate for our members’ interests in Washington DC, state capitols, and at the local level, working to improve federal and state laws, regulations, policies and decisions regarding access to and active management of public forest lands and timber supplies from other working forests.

AFRC also works to tell industry’s story, build broad and diverse partnerships to increase active forest management, and engage the media and public on important forestry issues.
