Steve Brink
Steve Brink is an experienced and well-known leader in our industry and has extensive experience in forestry, public lands management and wood products.
Steve was born and raised in Placerville, California and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, at U.C. Davis in 1971. He went on to study Forest and Logging Engineering at Oregon State University. He worked in engineering and forest planning with the U.S. Forest Service for 37 years with 10 moves across the country before retiring as Deputy Regional Forester for Alaska in 2005. He previously served as Vice President of Public Resources for the California Forestry Association, focusing on working with public lands managers to increase the pace and scale of vegetation management.
Steve will continue to provide monitoring services for the Stanislaus, Sierra, Eldorado, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, Inyo, Los Padres, Toiyabe, and San Bernardino National Forests.
